The brand new HyperChrome Captain Cook family offers a trio of diver's watches for men and women with vintage watches design codes and a few modern updates such as the usage of high-tech ceramic onto the bezel and updated movements. Named after the 18th century British explorer Captain James Cook, the watches is offered in two case sizes -- the 37 millimeter versions are available equally in men's and women's fashions while a bigger, more masculine 45 mm alternative in grade 5 titanium is available for those with bigger wrists.
The 37 mm versions are cased in polished stainless steel and feature high-tech ceramic bezels fitted with a box-shaped sapphire crystal, a nod to its classic roots. The HyperChrome Captain Cook's feminine version includes a silvery, slightly raised dial studded with eight Top Wesselton diamonds and a date window at 3. It uses rhodium
The 37 millimeter gent's version is a faithful reiteration of the first swiss army diver watches from 1962 and is a limited version of 1962 pieces. It's a greyish sunburst dial with printed indices and a vintage color Super-LumiNova. It's a silver colored printed Captain Cook, Rado and Automatic trademarks and a date window at 3. The watch is fitted with a dark porcelain bezel and is paired with a brown vintage leather strap. The polished stainless steel case back with three sea horses stamped onto it and also the engraving"Limited Edition One out of 1962".
The 45 millimeter model uses a grade 5 titanium case with hardening therapy and a grim high quality ceramic bezel insert. The sunburst blue dial has implemented indices with white Super-LumiNova and Rado's large white moving anchor symbol with red backdrop. This view is fitted with a blue cloth strap. All three swiss army diver watches versions are powered with the ETA C07.611 movement which has a power reserve of 80 hours.
